The UWF dormitories are quite large and more than adequate for students. Especially the newly renovated huge dorms they just built. The University of Florida has a very active campus life! The most popular “hangout” is the commons. The market and many other restaurants are located here, as well as the bookshop, post office and a huge hall where students can relax. There is everything from a grand piano and fireplace to table football and trivia games in this building. It’s quite a popular meeting place. The library has five floors and is conveniently located in the center of the campus. During the remaining three weeks before and during the finals, the library is open to students 24/7. I am excited to participate in the traditional “Festival on the Green” which takes place in March. We offer large sports centers. We also have a three story climbing wall. You can also rent kayaks, canoes, tennis rackets, and more on campus any time you like! There’s always plenty to do here at the University of Florida.
