

The School of Music was an excellent experience to both learn great performance, and learn to teach great performers. The applied instructors were fantastic teachers and performers always, and the student body was extremely supportive. I was given plenty of opportunities to perform in safe spaces, play new music and standard repertoire, and get feedback on how to improve. The course load is standard for a School of Music, though more aimed towards education.
The School of Music is going through a rough patch with many of the current professors retiring or leaving, but those leading the way such as the department head and director of bands are sure to steer the school into a bright future.

View moreIt is a pretty decent university in the A& M system. It offers availability to different cities in the area for people that can’t come to the main campus. It is ideal for people that are getting their master’s degrees in concordance with their work.
View moreGood University. People are very kind and welcoming. The programs are also good and flexible. The teachers try to help their students. There are some resources to help students and they offer great opportunities for international students. The cost of tuition is affordable.
