Texas A&M University originally known for it’s mechanical and agricultural school has grown to offer many more courses. Being the second largest public institution in the USA, it offers an array of courses to choose from and has really great engineering, business and vet school programs. The campus sprawls across an expanse of 21 km sq and gives a very small town country vibe. It lies right in the middle of Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin and thus, you can also explore these nearby cities or go to their career fairs. However, the most unique thing about A&M are the aggie traditions which are deep seated into the culture at A&M. When you go to A&M, the crazy football traditions, hymns, and a feeling of solidarity are a part of your experience. Being an aggies teaches you to be a better person. I loved my time here and would definitely recommend it to people. The faculty, career prospects, and facilities are all great and you have a tonne of resources available you can take advantage of.
