Rider has small class sizes that allows for individual support and community building. As a science major it was great for labs! I was able to build skills and have experiences that other science majors at bigger schools did not have. The challenge came when looking to work with a professor. Too few = less opportunities.
As for campus life, during the week it was lively and safe! During the weekend, a lot of students went home or spent time outside of campus. Greek life was present and inviting, but never out of control, which went with the vibe of Rider not being a party school.
Overall, I had a great four years as a science major. I was able to get a job within a month of graduating with recommendations from my professors and created a group of friends that I still keep up with today.
