Student review [#84953] for Biological Sciences
at Purdue University

In a quiet, small town in Indiana sits the grand Purdue University. I had the privilege of attending Purdue for 3.5 years, receiving an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology. I mean it when I say there is a place at Purdue for everyone. Although primarily an engineering school, Purdue has amazing facilities and faculty for every department, with new developments and improvements taking place every day. For example, when I graduated in December 2024, the Mitch Daniels School of Business further expanded with new state-of-the-art buildings and world-class libraries.
But Purdue is not only classes and lectures. I had the opportunity to work with respected professors in their labs and gain hands-on experience in cutting edge medical research. This gave me a very strong foundation for further academic studies and career prospects. Everyone in the faculty, be it the professor, graduate students, or peers, helps you to learn and make mistakes to thrive.
When it comes to campus life, I will admit it is a slow-paced life with most of the entertainment within the boundaries of the campus. However, once you find your people and settle in, it becomes very exciting. You make unique memories which honestly cannot be made anywhere except West Lafayette, Indiana.
