Powerful Alumni Association
I am fully committed to Penn State as myself along with my wife are graduates. Additionally, I have two children who are graduates, two children who are current students, and our other child will most likely attend PSU. There is an inclusive culture, a feel of belonging, experienced instructors, and plenty of activities to get involved. The alumni network is very powerful in assisting with potential career opportunities. One suggestion I would make to improve a student experience is for a deeper explanation of an academic advisor role. Although the process is student owned, sometimes students don’t know what they don’t know. Aligning with an Advisor more frequently would be more fruitful in crafting a plan.
