My opinion about the University of the People (UoPeople):
I have a positive opinion about the University of the People. It is a great opportunity for students who want quality education but may not have the financial ability to attend traditional universities.
What I like about the university:
What I like most is that it is tuition-free and fully online, which makes education accessible to people from different countries. The courses are well structured, the instructors are supportive, and the peer-learning system helps students learn from each other. It also allows me to study at my own pace while managing other responsibilities.
What I dislike about the university:
One challenge is that online learning requires strong self-discipline. Sometimes communication can be slow, and peer assessments may not always be perfect, but these are manageable issues.
Would I recommend it?

View moreOverall, my experience at the University of the People has been positive. As a Somali student, I truly appreciate the flexibility of being able to study from home, which makes balancing my education with other responsibilities much easier. The program is well-organized, and the professors are supportive. However, I believe UoPeople could enhance the learning experience by expanding the range of programs offered and incorporating more live classes and video lectures. This would provide a more interactive and engaging learning environment. Despite this, UoPeople remains an accessible, affordable, and quality choice for students worldwide, and I highly recommend it.
