I chose this school because it was a quaint little college town and the education they were promising seemed excellent. The first day I got there I was begging to go back home. Over time my experience at ONU got better however I would not say that I have really enjoyed my time there. I had a really hard time making friends and I don’t even really talk to the very few I have made. The university offers no fun clubs, everything is more of an organization. This is great for people looking to be a part of the Italian American Association but not so much for people who want to be a part of a coloring club or a paranormal research club. The campus itself is beautiful and well taken care of I love being outside when it is warm and studying or taking walks. I have had a couple of bad professors in my time there but overall they are all really easy to work with and are friendly and helpful. The food on campus is not great there are only three options to eat on campus with the dining dollars and most of the time you will end up in the bathroom after eating. The worst part is that the university is located in the middle of nowhere and the closest shopping center is a half-hour away so you have to have a car or a friend with a car to be able to leave campus. In general, I do love the school I love the faculty and campus itself I just wish it was in another location and that there was more to do on campus and in Ada.
