I was privileged to have joined or rather to have been accepted to study business management at Northwood University my dream school and I also got the opportunity to study my dream course. It was indeed a great pleasure for me. Apparently the university has some of the best facilities for higher learning institution. A good library for students to carry out personal work and research. Good teachers and other university staff. Good and decent dorms

I graduated in 2017 with a BSc in Business Administration concentration in Finance & Management. Classes were highly engaging, and thought provoking. All of my credits were transferred as a transfer student which saved me a lot of money, multiple clubs to join whether it be academics, sports, culture. Abundant part time jobs available on campus. Dorm fees were waived for being a Wellness assistant at the quad gym. Assistance also provided to find jobs after graduation through semester career fairs. Overall highly recommend

As an international student, Northwood has been an amazing experience. Absolutely loved learning there and loved the teachers I had. The dorms are small comparatively. And when I was there the culture was less liberal, student segregation seemed almost ridiculous. Midland in general has a conservative Judeo-Christian mindset, meaning you’ll be invited to church a lot. But it did not get in the way of my life. The community is great and you need to work your absolute best to stand out or even be noticed. Would highly recommend it to any business students looking at Northwood as an option.

Northwood University is a small private school that offers many business programs. It is an ideal choice for those who are interested in studying business as the university has several specialized bachelor’s degrees and master’s courses focusing on business administration. Professors are great at Northwood University, and they often have real-life experience in their fields. This gives the student insight into the business world and gives an idea of how what is being learned can be applied to a future job. Furthermore, classes are small, so it is easier to connect with your professor and it allows them to give you individual feedback. Northwood’s degree is well respected so there are great career prospects after getting an education there. In addition to this, there is a lot of support from staff to prepare students for finding a job. The facilities at Northwood are exceptional, you will feel like you have everything you need and more, in sports and education. However, the student life and location are average, Midland is a quiet town but there are activities on campus that students can get involved in. Internationality is also average, although several students from abroad, who are recruited to play sports, diversify the campus. Overall, the value of Northwood University is great. You will feel like you are learning and progressing for your next steps after college whilst enjoying the great campus, surrounded by supportive professors.
