What I like about NOVA is the flexible modes of classes. There are in person, online (via zoom), hybrid (in person and via zoom), and independent (no set meet times in person or via zoom. All independent work that must be followed using a syllabus. A teacher is still assigned to the class for any questions you may have or for any help you may need). I also like the different resources NOVA provides. They provide most course materials at little to no charge, help with finding a job, and many more resources. They also make it their goal to have as much student involvement as possible by holding different events, clubs, etc.
View moreMy experience at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) was smooth sailing. After attending classes in person my first semester, I chose to complete my remaining courses online. I found that online learning provided more flexibility, as I had the option to finish a course at my own pace. I also had the opportunity to choose the length of my classes ranging from 4-15 weeks depending on how accelerated I preferred my learning to be. NOVA Online allowed me to obtain the same quality of learning as in person classes, and continue to maintain my personal responsibilities.
