Although surrounded by cornfields, the town of Bloomington-Normal always has something going on and you can always find something to doNormal is pretty much connected to Bloomington. Normal is always pretty busy with college students, Bloomington is a bigger city with plenty of things to do.
View moreThere is always something to do. One of my favorite activities on campus is sports. The Recreation Center is amazing, huge and has so many classes to join. Being involved with Epsilon Sigma Alpha also allows me to get involved with other RSOs on campus, raise money for charity, and meet so many new like-minded people.
View moreNormal: Not So Normal – The city of Normal is very different from the city of Chicago where I’m from. Normal is smaller, but slightly friendlier. People often appreciate the friendly greetings and welcoming smile of a neighbor in town. Also, all the attractions appear to be much closer together, allowing for better access for students without convenient transportation. Cultural events include things like the corn festival and all the different activities on campus. The townspeople are very welcoming to students and always ready to help with directions. I appreciate the city of normality for its various activities, its friendly people and also the opportunities to make students feel at home
View moreThey are making every effort to ensure that pupils graduate with a career. Business speakers are invited to one of my sessions, and we have our meetings at the job center. We had to go to the career fair and the mock interviews in order to network and perhaps get a job after graduation. The networking and recruitment possibilities offered by career centers are excellent. There will be many opportunities for internships and jobs if you take advantage of them. Although it won’t just fall into your lap, the chances of success are very high if you set your mind to it and pursue it. I am aware that one of, if not my most prized property, will be my degree.
