Even though it was only my first year, I had a great time at the campus and found it easy to navigate since it is not overwhelmingly large. Moreover, the professors genuinely care about their students’ education and there are numerous tutoring centers available for assistance. Additionally, there are plenty of places to sit and get work done. While the food on campus may not be the best, there are plenty of food trucks on Warren that cater to various tastes.

At NJIT, a smaller educational institution, building connections and forming friendships is facilitated due to the close-knit community. All campus buildings are conveniently situated in a compact area, enabling easy navigation between classes. Additionally, the presence of police and public safety officers surrounding the campus contributes to a reassuring sense of security.

Upon my arrival at NJIT, I was overwhelmed with nervousness. Nevertheless, I was met with incredibly warm and welcoming individuals, which greatly eased my anxiety. During my first day, I felt completely lost, but thankfully, there were compassionate individuals who helped me navigate. NJIT provides numerous clubs to be a part of, and I strongly encourage getting involved in them as they are enjoyable and offer a wonderful chance to establish long-lasting friendships.
