Montclair State University (reviews)

I enjoyed Montclair State University because of its diverse student body, extracurricular activities, proximity to NYC, and its extensive course catalog. I dormed while living there and thought the housing was nice. The one downside is that since it’s a commuter school, a lot of people left on the weekends. The university is located next to a busy highway and is away from the restaurant row of Montclair, so it was hard to socialize out on the town.

Montclair State University is a vibrant institution known for its strong academic programs, diverse student body, and beautiful campus. One of its standout features is the balance it strikes between offering the personalized attention of a smaller school while also providing the resources and opportunities of a larger university.

What I liked most was the commitment to diversity and inclusion, fostering a welcoming environment. The campus is active, with numerous clubs, and organizations, and there’s always something happening.

On the downside, parking can be a challenge during peak hours, which is a common issue at many commuter-friendly campuses. However, the university continues to improve in this area.

Overall, Montclair State University provides a well-rounded experience, with strong academic programs, a supportive community, and numerous opportunities for involvement. If you’re looking for a place to thrive both academically and socially, Montclair is worth considering!

Montclair State University allows students to be more connected to the world around them and to be connected to their professors as well. The campus is only 12 miles away from NYC, which gives students a chance to explore, while being close to more job opportunities. The diverse campus also helps students learn more about the people around them and cultures.

Great university, great professors. And I like the all about the education, the program, the staffs. My problem was the insertion of International students not giving enough Information on what their opportunities are. And yes I’ll recommend it
