Anglo-American University - AAU (reviews)

I finished both my BA and MBA at AAU a few years ago, and I can honestly say that the whole experience was amazing. Looking back, I am really grateful for the knowledge, skills, and experiences I gained during my time there. I learned so many valuable things that are still helping me in both my personal and professional life today.

One of the things I appreciated most about AAU was the international environment. It was a great opportunity to meet people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, which helped me develop a broader perspective on the world. The professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always encouraged us to think critically, share our opinions, and develop our own ideas.

The courses were interesting and practical, and I especially enjoyed how we could connect what we learned in class to real-life situations. Studying at AAU also helped me improve my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Overall, I have very positive memories of my time at AAU. It was not only a place where I earned my degrees but also where I grew as a person, built great friendships, and gained valuable life experiences. I would definitely recommend AAU to anyone considering studying there.

My experience at Anglo-American University has been truly exceptional. The university combines academic excellence with a welcoming, international, and vibrant student environment. The professors are erudite and passionate about their subjects, while also being open, friendly, and approachable.
Beyond the classroom, there is a genuine sense of community, and the overall environment on campus is positive, inclusive, and full of energy with many student clubs and other opportunities to get involved. Finally, studying in Prague makes the experience even more special. It’s a beautiful city and I have found it to be a safe and enjoyable place to live. And the campus is beautiful, located in a historical palace in the center of the city with a gorgeous park where peacocks roam right next to it!

AAU is the greatest uni ever! I had so much fun. Everyone was super helpful and thanks to AAU I got myself an internship at MFA and Diplomatic Academy! School events were great and the marketing team is doing such a good work! My best experience was with professor Věra Jeřábková and dean George Hays. I will definitely continue my masters degree at AAU and recommend everyone this wonderful uni! President of AAU Jiří Schwarz is the best!

Anglo-American University offers a truly international environment with students and professors from many different countries. The classes are engaging, the campus is located in the heart of Prague, and the smaller class sizes allow for more interaction with lecturers. I particularly appreciated the practical approach to learning and the opportunity to develop critical thinking and communication skills. Overall, I would recommend AAU to anyone looking for an English-speaking university with a diverse and welcoming community.

I personally have a positive opinion of time in AAU. As a transfer student, I felt my concerns were taken care of, and the professors are also very helpful and easy to reach out to. Campus Life is also something I view positively, as I feel like I can get along with a majority of the students

My experience at Anglo-American University in Prague has been very positive overall. I am currently a second year student studying international relations with a concentration in international law. What I really like about AAU is the small class sizes, the international environment and the opportunity to attend events where we get the chance to talk with ambassadors from all around the world. I also like that the professors are generally approachable, and studying with students from different countries gives you a variety of perspective. One thing I would improve is the organization of some administrative matters, but overall I am satisfied with my experience. I would recommend AAU to students who want an international university environment and are interested in studying international relations, law, or diplomacy.

I loved my time at AAU. The professors truly care about us and encourage us to develop our own ideas. The international community was one of my favorite parts. Everyone was so welcoming and kind so I was able to attend great events make long lasting friendships from around the world. AAU is what makes Prague feel like home to me

I loved the community that AAU provided. The professors are all very well-educated, they are willing to help, and are strong personalities. The school has so many resources that make students feel supported every step of the way

Attending AAU not only a tremendously fun time in my life, but also extremely fulfilling both emotionally and professionally. I made connections with alumni, learned a new sport, understood what my next steps were in terms of dream career pursuit, and I got to have some of my course journalism work published in the local Czech Radio! I would recommend it for anyone looking for an international experience to serve as a launching pad for your career.
