I loved my time at AAU. The professors truly care about us and encourage us to develop our own ideas. The international community was one of my favorite parts. Everyone was so welcoming and kind so I was able to attend great events make long lasting friendships from around the world. AAU is what makes Prague feel like home to me

Attending AAU not only a tremendously fun time in my life, but also extremely fulfilling both emotionally and professionally. I made connections with alumni, learned a new sport, understood what my next steps were in terms of dream career pursuit, and I got to have some of my course journalism work published in the local Czech Radio! I would recommend it for anyone looking for an international experience to serve as a launching pad for your career.

I’ve enjoyed my time at AAU so far. The people are friendly, the campus is very nice, and the atmosphere is very community-based. The location in Mala Strana also makes for a very attractive University setting.

My favorite part about attending AAU was the student life and the community of students on campus. Everyone was really involved and super friendly and I made some lasting friendships that helped me grow personally, but also professionally since the AAU alumni network is very active.

The overall experience was positive, but I’d to highlight the AAU staff and faculty. I was always encouraged to reach out and ask for help. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all my questions are answered and all details clarified. This is not the case for public universities in the Czech Republic and is an aspect of my student journey that I very much value.

I would recommend this university to all of my friends, the program is very useful, very wise professors and people overall. Location is perfect, a lot of activities and opportunities for students!!!!

I’m currently in my third year studying for a BA in Political Science, and my experience has been great so far. Prague is already an amazing city to live in, and studying at AAU makes it even better. The university is located right in the heart of the city, which makes everyday life as a student exciting, convenient, and inspiring.

One of the things I appreciate most about AAU is the small class sizes. This makes lectures more interactive and engaging, and you really get the chance to know your professors. They are approachable, supportive, and genuinely interested in helping students succeed, both academically and personally. The learning environment feels more like a community than a typical large university.

AAU is also a very international school, which is one of its biggest strengths. You meet people from all over the world, learn about different cultures and perspectives, and build friendships and connections that go far beyond the classroom. This diversity makes discussions more interesting and helps you grow both academically and personally.

The programs the university offers are well-structured and flexible. I especially like that you can choose a concentration alongside your major, which allows you to tailor your studies to your interests and future goals. The courses are relevant, thought-provoking, and connected to real-world issues, which makes the program feel practical and meaningful.
