This university gave me more than an education—it gave me a sense of direction. The professors here genuinely cared about my success, always encouraging me to ask questions and think critically. I love being part of the student community; I joined clubs and organizations that allowed me to explore my interests and build lasting relationships. The campus is alive with activity, from academic seminars to social events, and there is always something to get involved in. By the time I graduate, I’ll feel ready to take on the world, knowing I have both the skills and the confidence to succeed.

I have studied at both public and private universities — VŠE, UNYP, and AAU.
Only AAU made me want to stay and graduate.

For me, AAU was much more than just earning a degree. It was a life-changing experience where I grew into a better person, thanks to the close, supportive connection between students and professors.

I always felt encouraged and intellectually challenged. Everything I learned at AAU translated seamlessly into real-world skills, and I have even been praised in the international television industry for the mindset and communication abilities I honed there.

A Humanities degree will make you resilient and equip you with strong reasoning skills and a research-driven mindset.

I would recommend AAU to anyone who is tired of outdated university traditions and doesn’t want to spend years in soulless institutions, becoming just one among many.

I am currently in my third year at AAU in the Humanities program, and I thoroughly enjoy the education I receive. The classes are capped at 25 students, and all of my professors engage actively with the students. While they may have a different approach, many of them, if not all, will include debates, discussions, student presentations, and group work. The education I have received at AAU will be invaluable towards my professional and personal future.

Studying at Anglo-American University in Prague has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The university offers a truly international environment with students and professors from all over the world, which creates a diverse and inspiring atmosphere. The classes are engaging, interactive, and focused on critical thinking.

One of the best aspects of AAU is its location in the heart of Prague, a beautiful and historic city that makes student life unforgettable. The smaller class sizes also allow for more personal attention from professors, who are approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in students’ success.

AAU combines American and European academic styles, giving students a unique educational experience and excellent preparation for international careers. I would highly recommend Anglo-American University to anyone looking for high-quality education in an international setting.

The university is Located in the beautiful Baroque Thurn-Taxis Palace in Prague, AAU’s campus is not only historic but also provides modern facilities. Its setting in Prague offers us students access to a vibrant city known for its cultural, historical, and business significance in Europe.

I like the small community at AAU and the focus on the liberal arts. AAU is what I expected from it when I was researching it before applying. I’ve been satisfied with my education here, and the opportunity it has given me to live in Prague. The location, people, and topics are great. Most of the things I’d change come down to professors, their teaching style, and the school needing to review their professors more frequently as some of them do not hit the mark for an engaged and devoted university professor. That being said, there are some that go above and beyond in their field and are recognized for their incredible teaching skills. I also think a downside of AAU is how small it is limiting the opportunities you have to connect with numerous large businesses, have funding for clubs or internships, etc. pros and cons to anything.
