Montana State University is a public university located in Bozeman in the state of Montana, USA. It was established in 1893, just 4 years after Montana became a state, and after the state legislature agreed to put the state’s college there. At that time, it was called the Agricultural College of the State of Montana, and the facilities were built from donations from the state and businessman Nelson Story, Sr. 10 years later, there was an expansion – the university grew and their name was changed to Montana State College. However, with World War II and the Great Depression, the university suffered greatly, as there was a big inflation in prices, combined with administrative instability. After that, the university revamped, and there was exponential growth, both in quantity and quality, with a good academic level, new facilities and more students enrolled. When it was founded, it first started out with just 8 students, now in the late 2010s, it has over 16,000 students and 3,500 employees.Show more
