I was a Political Science major and took many of my classes remotely during COVID. You can expect a great program under Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs (SIPA).Truly does feel like an underrated focus to take at FIU.
I loved the campus and vibe.You can sit anywhere and easily spend a while.
In my experience, advising was subpar compared to Broward College.
Mostly a commuter school, but I would have liked to have the opportunity to spend more time on campus and get involved.
Overall, I firmly recommend FIU.

I had a great time learning at FIU. I was an international relations major. I felt like I learned so much, especially in my particular area of study in that field. So many knowledgeable professors about the Caribbean and Latin America. Would recommend to anybody.

Most of my classes were online and I had the resources and tools for most of my classes to succeed. Additionally the professors were very helpful in teaching the program and making sure we did well. Also the career and internships programs were quite accessible even for online students.
