I will definitely recommend FIU, you have many facilities and people who are always encouraging you to take Interships, works, courses around the world and many other things. It’s a very diversity university which you learn a lot from other cultures expanding you knowledge and understanding many things. You become open minded and also you comprehend many behaviors and traditions they have

I was a Political Science major and took many of my classes remotely during COVID. You can expect a great program under Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs (SIPA).Truly does feel like an underrated focus to take at FIU.
I loved the campus and vibe.You can sit anywhere and easily spend a while.
In my experience, advising was subpar compared to Broward College.
Mostly a commuter school, but I would have liked to have the opportunity to spend more time on campus and get involved.
Overall, I firmly recommend FIU.

It is a fairly okay school, it is more of a commuter school so you don’t receive that student to student interactions outside of classes. their programs are nice but I wish there was more teachers provided especially for the STEM classes.

FIU is a good university, overall it has allowed me many different tools to advance and succeed in my field of choice. People are welcoming and classes are sufficiently challenging and understandable.

Miami is a multicultural city; It’s a mix of happy spirits, hard working individuals and polydynamic ideas based on different political and ethnic backgrounds. The city is full of talented visual artists and arts venues, as well as musicians and dancers who call Miami home. Florida International University is located in the heart of the city between the towns of Sweetwater and Westchester. There are a variety of restaurants, supermarkets and art galleries around the university. In fact, the educational center is one of the largest scientific research and education colleges in Florida.

Love FIU so much. I’ve had so many opportunities in my time here. I wish it was easier to make friends, though. Most students take online classes or go straight to class and leave. Other than that, FIU has been an amazing experience.

I really like the organization FIU has. Once you get the hang of how things are done and organized, it’s very easy to understand. I also enjoy how friendly and understanding the staff can be, and the effort they put in teaching is really nice. I enjoy the professionalism of the staff and the school all together.

I would recommend it! It has many opportunities available for any type of career and major. The courses and professors are great, and it pushes you to obtain great grades while also maintaining a balance.
