at Miami University

I loved my time spent at Miami University. I was a student who commuted and was lucky enough to spend time on all three campuses in Ohio. I got my bachelors degree from the university in Biology in 2017. The professors were fantastic. Very helpful and hands on, and always eager to help. I will say, the student life for commuters wasn’t as wonderful as I had hoped, but like most universities, I feel this is to be expected when not living on campus. The university offered free shuttles to help with cost when driving between each campus which I took advantage of each semester. It saved me so much money in gas and I was able to do schoolwork on the 45 minute drive there and back. The program I was part of left me feeling well rounded in all of my class choices and there seemed to be something for everyone. I would highly recommend this program to anyone pursuing a degree in the science field of study and I would recommend Miami University as a whole to any incoming or returning student.
