Miami is located is a very cutesy college town that is very nice! the campus is also SO PRETTY. My program, Zoology, wasn’t the best but I still got to make a few animal courses and it was fun! Overall I would recommend this school over others that are in Ohio
View moreMy time at Miami University has been truly rewarding. I’ve found the campus to be beautiful, providing a great environment for both study and relaxation. The people I’ve met, including fellow students and professors, have made a significant impact on my experience. Engaging conversations, diverse perspectives, and a sense of community have enriched my college journey. The professors, with their expertise and dedication, have been instrumental in shaping my academic path. However, it’s worth noting that there were occasional challenges, particularly in finding advisors when needed. Navigating these situations could be smoother with more consistent guidance. Despite this, my overall impression of Miami University is positive, filled with valuable experiences and meaningful connections.
View moreI loved my time spent at Miami University. I was a student who commuted and was lucky enough to spend time on all three campuses in Ohio. I got my bachelors degree from the university in Biology in 2017. The professors were fantastic. Very helpful and hands on, and always eager to help. I will say, the student life for commuters wasn’t as wonderful as I had hoped, but like most universities, I feel this is to be expected when not living on campus. The university offered free shuttles to help with cost when driving between each campus which I took advantage of each semester. It saved me so much money in gas and I was able to do schoolwork on the 45 minute drive there and back. The program I was part of left me feeling well rounded in all of my class choices and there seemed to be something for everyone. I would highly recommend this program to anyone pursuing a degree in the science field of study and I would recommend Miami University as a whole to any incoming or returning student.
