“Benefits: flexibility to decide research/travel/study abroad projects, availability of funds for graduates, encouragement of administrative staff and teachers, opportunity to be recommended together with other teachers, high quality of education, numerous resources and collaborations among other schools and labs also allow for more resources, great location, huge amount of social activities, overall happiness within the department. My department really supports their graduating students and provides resources for anything we need. Cons: Sometimes too much freedom can ruin the business and it depends on your advisor – organizing your time effectively is the key to getting things done. The lectures can be time consuming but they are necessary… it just means that the research has to be postponed or postponed, other times it has to be done there is really no downside to the department. Workload is high, but enjoyable. The faculty challenges you, but is very encouraging. It’s a great environment.”
