Hollins University is a private women’s college in Roanoke, Virginia. The campus is absolutely gorgeous, situated in the mountains and surrounded by nature. It is about a fifteen-minute drive from Downtown Roanoke and is a more driver-friendly campus. There are also shuttles that will take students to grocery stores and Downtown Roanoke.
I am currently planning to major in History, and as such, am taking many history classes as the specific time and area of history haven’t officially been chosen. There are the typical core classes that a student must take in their first two years. Some of those include Math, Science, and a creative ones such as theatre or creative writing to name a few.
The classes span in difficulty, but there are many tutoring programs put into place to help. Many teachers are open and happy to help and understand of any difficulties a student might have.
