at Hawaii Pacific University

Hawaii Pacific University was one of many schools I applied to as a high school senior, but what made me ultimately pick them as the school to attend to, along with the offer of an academic four-year scholarship, was a number of attractive details about their campus and learning environment that would allow the transition from my high school to university to be as seamless as possible – small class sizes, the natural incentive to reach out to your professor outside of the classroom to build your career/academic network, and a diverse student body consisting of people who came from everywhere in the world to study at this university.

In addition, Hawaii Pacific University offered modern campus amenities and student services that continued to evolve and be added with each academic year, demonstrating the university knew when and how to adapt to meet new, emerging student needs as more sought to attend each year. Hawaii Pacific University also gave multiple opportunities for myself to discover new hobbies or find fellow people to participate in existing ones through multiple student organisations: from the Anime Club to Polyglot Toastmasters, and most importantly of all: realize a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad for a semester in London, UK (one of my dream destinations to visit).

In short, my four years studying at Hawaii Pacific University were more about just attaining my Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications. Hawaii Pacific University helped me tick off the first of many items on my list of lifetime achievements.
