Student review [#57232] for Medicine
at Harvard University

As a 20-year-old Aussie studying medicine at Harvard, let me tell you about my experience so far. It’s been a wild ride, I must say!

First things first, I absolutely love the diverse and vibrant campus life at Harvard. There’s always something happening, from cool events to meeting people from all over the world. The academic environment is top-notch, and the professors are experts in their fields. Plus, the research opportunities here are insane, and I’ve had the chance to work on some groundbreaking projects.

Now, on to the not-so-great stuff. You know how Aussies love their warm weather? Well, Harvard’s winters are something else. I’ve had to learn to brave the freezing cold and snow, but I guess it’s all part of the experience, right? Also, the workload can be a bit overwhelming at times, but hey, it’s med school, what did I expect?

But you know what’s cool? Harvard’s got this awesome collaboration with other world-class institutions, and it opens up even more opportunities for us students. Plus, the medical facilities here are top-notch, and the practical training we get is invaluable.

I’ve also had the chance to be part of some awesome clubs and groups on campus, like the Aussie mates club, where we celebrate our Aussie culture together and share some Vegemite sandwiches!

Honestly, the hardest part was adjusting to the American way of studying and their medical system, but I’ve grown so much as a person during this journey. It’s been challenging, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
