Harvard is a place where education is approached from a different angle, as the university values learning and curiosity over recognition. Harvard students are so passionate about learning that they are able to achieve a level of thinking that few can achieve, namely metacognition: reflecting on your thinking or learning process. The interdisciplinary and collaborative environment, as well as the passionate friends I made, allowed me to give free rein to my curiosity and my creativity. Harvard is not only a school of intellectuals, it is a school of enthusiasts. People work hard, are determined and believe in what they do. The best thing about Harvard is the fact that hierarchies don’t matter. Professors don’t brag about their awards and degrees, graduate students and undergraduates work together, and everyone is open to helping each other. Harvard is a beautiful and intellectually stimulating place to study.
