The university has incredible resources and can make any vision a reality. If you have an idea for a business, research, or anything else the university will have ways for you to obtain the necessary information, meet the right experts, and receive the necessary feedback. Nonetheless, amidst this bounty of resources for someone not accustomed to so many advantages, it can be very difficult to navigate and figure out what is important and what one truly seeks out in the college experience. So, I wish there’d be more mentorship and support for students. The classes and professors, however, are for the most part extremely invested in their students and in their research; every professor has office hours and strongly encourages students to make use of them (something I learned is not true in a number of other places). Overall, it is an incredible opportunity to have gone to this university, and I hope that the institution improves and moves toward more student integration and better mentorship.
