This university has been an incredible experience for me. The campus is absolutely breathtaking, with countless delectable food choices and uniquely designed dormitories. The energy of student life here is vibrant and lively. I highly recommend this university.
View moreJames Madison University has been an amazing experience for me as a freshman thus far. My housing is decent, and I believe that the amenities I have access to are excellent—especially the food. The campus is a really busy area, and although while I always feel like I have plenty to do, I also feel like I have time to unwind and have fun. I’ve already learnt some incredible stuff, and the Professors and classes are both excellent.
View moreThe environment is wonderful, and everyone is so friendly. The lecturers do a fantastic job at what they do, and the classes are enjoyable. There are countless classes, groups, and organizations where you can explore your interests. Everyone will find something here that interests them both academically and socially. It’s the ideal environment for a student.
View moreI am currently a student at James Madison University and I am a Freshman Psychology student. I am not able to speak on it much, but my experiences in my program have been pleasant so far. For example, my university has done an amazing job at informing you of your resources and there are often reminders around campus. I know exactly where to go when I am in need of help. I have gone to a career coach when I did not know how to apply my degree to the real world, I have gone to a psychology department peer advisor when there is something that I need help with. My classes make me feel adequately prepared to pursue a career in the mental health field already, even though I am nowhere near finished yet. Overall, I think all programs at JMU are helpful and fruitful, but since I am biased, I will say that I think the psychology program is beneficial.
