Grand Valley State University - GVSU (reviews)

GVSU is in the small, rural town of Allendale, MI but don’t let that deter you! You are not far from the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches in Grand Haven or the urban life and beer city of Grand Rapids! My Biology program was wonderful and I had small class sizes where professors would know my name. There are a lot of self help and tutoring available along with many student organizations and events to keep you stress levels down but also further you career aspirations. To top it off a beautiful campus with a brand new library with quieter floors as you head up and a rooftop garden and outside study area. Need I say more! Come and check it out to become a Laker now. 🙂

A perfect size campus and will always my top choice any day. The Campus is well maintained and kept very neat. Most facilities look so new and beautiful. There are also provisions for financial aid for students with university fee problems and this is one of the things that makes GVSU to stand out with pride. The financial aid however is not mostly offered to international students unless those who get admitted on scholarships. Good dorms that are conducive for students. The students can also access good foods

Grand Valley State University has been for a long time and has therefore developed to the international standards. It has qualified and competent professors and lecturers who ensure the programs are well taught to the students hence the university produces fully baked and qualified graduates who are able to handle various tasks in their areas of study in the job market. My area of specialization was business administration. During the study we were taught both theory work and exposed to the field during attachment. Good hostels are available hence students are able to access accommodation within the university
