I really enjoyed my time at Duke. The professors are passionate about what they teach and many make themselves very available to students who want to learn more. There are plenty of extracurricular offerings for students of varied interests, and it’s not difficult to find research opportunities on campus. I felt that Duke had a more collaborative spirit, as students tend to be very open to studying together and helping out classmates with difficult content. Sometimes, however, the work is overwhelming and can compromise one’s ability to care for oneself and one’s mental health.
