I’m currently earning my Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice through CTU’s online program, and I’ve had a great experience so far. The flexibility is one of the biggest advantages. I’m able to keep up with school while balancing work and personal responsibilities. The platform is user-friendly, and my professors have been responsive and supportive.
What I really like is how the courses are directly related to real-world applications, especially in areas like white collar crime, forensics, and constitutional law. The discussions help me think critically and stay engaged. I’d definitely recommend CTU to anyone who needs an online education that’s legit, structured, and flexible.

After speaking with an advisor about picking a major, trying to keep my job and take care of my 3 daughters, I seen possibilities. CTU instructors was more than just instructors they were mentor, counselors and caring. Some classes was difficult some were a breeze. I ask for help when needed and offer help to my classmates if they needed it. I finished with my masters in Business Administration and management, received a nice promotion at my job and I can take this educational experience anywhere.

My time at Colorado Technical University (CTU) as a remote student has been a positive and fulfilling experience overall. The flexibility and resources available have made it a great fit for my academic and personal lifestyle. Below are the highlights of my experience, what I liked and disliked, and whether I would recommend the university to others.
### Highlights:
– **Flexibility in Learning**: As a remote student, the flexibility that CTU offers has been one of the most valuable aspects of my experience. I was able to create my own schedule and study from anywhere, which was incredibly convenient for managing my time and other commitments. This is a huge advantage for anyone balancing school with work or family responsibilities.
– **Engaging Online Platform**: The university’s online platform is easy to navigate, and the course materials are organized in a way that makes learning straightforward. I was able to access lectures, assignments, and resources without difficulty. Additionally, the platform allows for good interaction with instructors and fellow students through forums and virtual meetings.
– **Supportive Faculty and Staff**: CTU’s faculty members have been very supportive throughout my journey. They are approachable, knowledgeable, and willing to help when needed. I’ve felt well-supported by both my professors and the administrative staff, which made a big difference in my experience.
### Likes:
– **Convenience**: Being a remote student, the ability to study at my own pace and from the comfort of home has been a major plus. I didn’t have to worry about commuting or being tied to a fixed schedule, which allowed me to balance my studies with my personal life.
– **Quality of Education**: The courses are well-structured and cover the material in depth. I felt that the program was thorough, and I gained the knowledge I needed to advance in my field. The combination of video lectures, readings, and assignments helped reinforce my learning effectively.
– **Career Services**: I’ve found the career services at CTU to be very helpful. The resources for job placement, resume building, and interview preparation have been a great benefit in helping me transition to the next phase of my career.
### Dislikes:
– **Lack of In-Person Interaction**: One downside of being a remote student is the limited face-to-face interaction with classmates and professors. Although virtual meetings and online discussions help, I did miss the personal connections that are a part of a traditional college experience.
– **Technical Issues**: While the online platform is generally reliable, there were occasional technical issues, such as delays in accessing materials or difficulty with some online features. These hiccups were usually resolved quickly but could be frustrating at times.
### Would I Recommend CTU?
Yes, I would recommend Colorado Technical University, especially to those who value flexibility and are looking for an online learning environment. The quality of education, the support from faculty and staff, and the convenience of remote learning make it a strong choice for anyone seeking a degree while managing other life responsibilities. However, if you’re someone who values a more traditional, campus-based experience with in-person interactions, CTU’s remote format may not be the best fit.
In conclusion, my experience at CTU has been largely positive, and I feel well-prepared for my career moving forward. If you’re considering online education, CTU is definitely worth exploring!
View moreI love my university. I have received a nomination for the honor society. should graduate soon if God allows. they are very attentive and cares about the well-being of all their students. if they see that a few days has passed and you haven’t returned your assignment, they will call you to check on well-being, which as a student means the world to me, it shows that someone wants to see me win because I have no one who believes in me or root for me. It makes me feel seen and heard.

Although remote, the school is very hands-on and the faculty and staff are available to assist students throughout the program. I learned a great deal from the master’s program and believe it was an excellent school choice.
