I attended engineering school back in 1991. At first glance, I was little disappointed with lack of hard core engineering curriculum but later I realzied that their were making great effort to provide intense education on presentation skills, humanity courses and other strong background for successful engineer career at company. I became a translator with a strong background in engineering and if I had not been to UVA for engieering major, I would not have been able to establish strong skills required for translators. It is a great school especially for those engineers who would want to work for consulting companies such as accenture.
