I have a bittersweet opinion of my university. It is a tough university when it comes to its academic rigor, however the programs are designed to truely train you you for your future by challenging you and forcing you to think unconventionally. As a graduate, I appreciate this part of my educational experience even though I found it difficult to cope with during my time there. The university also offers many resources that I have come to find that are not offered at every university. There are plenty of opportunities for real-world work experiences, financial aid, and mentorship with some of the top people in various fields. It is a very big university, so it can be intimidating to approach professors or seek out help if you are shy but there is always a place for you there and it will find you. I had some of the best support once I found an academic department that fit me.
