I was in high school in 2020 so I felt very overwhelmed when I started a new school, especially if it was in college and online, and I felt like I wasn’t enough ready for college. Fortunately, CSULA made those negative thoughts and feelings go away. The orientation guides were extremely helpful to incoming beginners who were on the same boat as me. They made sure we were informed about all the programs and departments they offered. In addition, the teachers have been very understanding and encouraging towards my colleagues and me, especially in these difficult times. In addition, clubs and organizations could practically introduce us, students arriving of the first year. They made us easy to decide what interests us so that we can know what to register for. In general, the csula is very hospitable, guided and motivating. When I saw their positive effects not only on me, but also for the other students,
