Appalachian University is the greatest in the globe with a variety of goals to influence knowledge on the students, and I must add that Appalachian University is highly recommended in the world. Appalachian University offers basic facilities and a wonderful atmosphere for studying.

Appalachian is for you if you want a small-town atmosphere with loads of outdoor adventures. We have students from all over the world studying for their undergraduate and graduate degrees at our university since it has a fantastic international program. If you wish to travel to the state’s urban areas, you can do so in two hours from Charlotte and three hours from Raleigh. International students have the chance to interact with local academics, staff, and students.

My first semester was difficult and my English class ended up being a failure of the bad instructors at that time. The second semester, though, was when things started to improve for me. In the art building, I made some incredible friends and attended numerous classes. Here, the art department is fantastic. The community is close to each other, and your professors genuinely care about your development.

The school’s scenery is gorgeous, really and the location Boone is great. The music program is fantastic, and every teacher I have encountered is eager to go above and beyond to make sure that learning is enjoyable. Although the campus is generally accessible to people with disabilities, there is room for improvement, particularly in the buildings. Overall, a great experience with lots of awesome people.

My Professors have been outstanding during my three semesters as a senior here. Prior to coming here, I attended NC State and UNCW, but App surpasses both. Unless I receive a sizable scholarship from UNC, I want to pursue graduate studies here. There are many things to do outside on the beautiful campus. The only drawbacks are the town’s tiny size, which means there are few dining and entertainment options, the harsh winters, and the lack of actual diversity.
As may be seen from their CVs, world-class instructors are drawn to the institution because of its innovative goals and its beautiful surroundings. The classes are all small and the new health building is excellent. It’s incredible that it also has one of the lowest in-state tuition costs in the country. At APP, the community and campus have a family-like atmosphere.

I’m a student in Appalachian’s Government and Justice Studies department getting my degree in Political Science. The political science department has great professors that are engaging, personable, willing to help, and very knowledgeable. Students are always invited to not only ask questions in class but after lectures, and during the professor’s office hours. Help is readily available to students. Faculty also have great connections to help students get internships and recommendation letters, and find graduate programs that will be a good fit for the individual aspirations of the student. Most of the classes I have taken have been really interesting and I have learned a lot.

Appalachian is tucked away in the mountain town of Boone, North Carolina, home to beautiful hikes, waterfalls, sunsets, and a quaint downtown. People there are very friendly and willing to help. If you enjoy a small-town feeling with lots of nature experiences, App is for you. It has a great international program and we get students from all over the world studying both undergraduate and graduate at our university. It’s two hours from Charlotte and three hours from Raleigh, so if you want to go visit the urban parts of the state, you can. There are opportunities for international students to connect with local students, faculty, and staff.

The school could be more disability-friendly. It has a lot of stairs and hills which would be very difficult for people who have injuries that require crutches or a boot and anyone who is in a wheelchair. This is something to keep in mind if you are a student who has difficulty getting around.
