Overall, Berkeley is a good university. It really depends on one’s personality and interests. Berkeley can be a very tough place sine people here are very focus on academics and majors like Business are very individualist. The international body is noticeable, but must of the time they hangout with their own people. Also, we have amazing teachers, but don’t expect ALL of the them to be perfect. It might be hard to integrate and find your group of friends at first. If you are looking for a university that is very academic centered, this might be your place. If you’re looking for a community-type university, I would think about it twice. However, it is possible to find that balance. It just takes patience.
