I am a first year Physiotherapy student at the University of Worcester and I have loved my time there so far! One of the main reasons which I chose Worcester is because of the safe and homely feel that both the university and the town give me. One of my friends once compared Worcester to a “Sunday morning” and I couldn’t have described the relaxed atmosphere in a better way. Onsite security and free buses from the town on student nights mean that I have always felt reassured and safe on campus and in town, particularly after late student nights. The university for me has a strong community feel due to the smaller class sizes, which means that I am able to get more support from my lecturers and tutors when I need it, compared to larger universities where I feel like people can get lost in larger class numbers. I am involved in one of the sports societies at the university and I have been impressed with the amazing facilities that are available.
