When I first found out about the very large number of students who make part of Bangor University I feared I’d be treated as part of a big community rather than getting individualized support and attention. But I have experienced the complete opposite: personalized and individualized support in a timely manner, both from admin and professors. Class size are smaller than I expected and you really get to know your peers! The campus is beautiful and everything is within walking distance, so no need to spend money on public transportation. There are several places to eat and drink throughout campus and most of them are very affordable and accommodate to students’ needs. Living in the halls has also been a great experience, and even if you happen to experience some issues, maintenance is very quick at getting things fixed. It is also quiet hard to not make friends here at Bangor uni, this is because all students get a free campus life membership and are able to assist a variety of weekly events (most of them free) and join any club/society desired. You can even easily start your own society if it doesn’t already exist! Needless to say, Bangor uni is a great place to study and an even better place to make friends from all over the world and call home.
