at University of Surrey

The University of Surrey became my top choice as soon as I visited it. My first impression of the university was its inclusivity and friendly nature, and now in my third year I can confirm this is exactly how Surrey feels. Surrey has two very green spacious campus’s that are a 10 minute walk from each other. One of my favourite parts of the university was within one week of joining the Vet School I was partnered with 2nd year and 3rd year vets. They were my vet family that supported me through the transition from 6th form to university life. A slight negative is the distance from university to the main town of Guildford. This affected the students that wanted a job to help support themselves, but in the last year the university have really expanded their student work force and offer plenty of jobs in a variety of areas. This is been a great contribution to the university that many of us are getting involved with!
