at University of Surrey

A university with room for everyone. Surrey is a university where you can always find someone to relate to. When I entered the university I was a bit scared. It was the first time that I would live outside my country and without my parents. I was afraid of not being able to make friends. These were silly fears from day one that the Studentenwerk had prepared hundreds of events to help first-year students integrate.

I also did an internship which helped me a lot with my job search because I had already acquired the necessary skills to excel in job interviews.
