The University of Southampton is a welcoming space, open for students to express themselves and their worries about certain current issues. Given the recent cost of living crisis, for example, the university has promoted ways to support students who are affected by increasing costs. Some examples of this would be breakfasts offered on certain days, and the student advice centre, which offers help with living circumstances as well as other areas of wellbeing.
