Satisfied and looking forward to joining the UK Southampton campus. Facilities and resources are not enough for business students due to the low amount of students in Business right now but I believe there are more and more students to join and it will be improved in the future. Yes, I would recommend others to join the environment.
View moreInnovation through the sustainable solutions, opportunities to create your start-up as the School is well-connected to a great variety of industries and also offers grants in form of prizes to provide an initial seed fund, Moreover, the University is showing an effort in creating an inclusive environment (e.g. India week, University of Southampton Malaysia) and as a South Asian and Expat myself that is very important.
View moreOverall the Southampton experience as a Master’s student has been good and it is evident that they are student-focused. The lecturers are generally helpful and approachable if you have any issues and there are plenty of other support available around if students need it. I was especially happy with the opportunities that they provide alongside studies, such as their Innovation Project and Internships. Whilst I would not classify Southampton as a ‘perfect’ university, I still find it to be a good university and am glad to have chosen to pursue my Master’s here.
View moreUniversity of Southampton ranks among the top 100 universities of the world and is also part of the Russell group of universities which are the top 23 universities in Uk based on their popularity, education, faculty placements etc. However the university does not justify its ranking in a lot of aspects like job placements, lack of innovative subject, Inexperienced faculty etc. These are some of the areas where the university needs a lot of improvement. Other than that it’s a good university with more than decent campus and access to all the good facilities which aids students in their degree and getting a lot of knowledge throughout the duration of the degree.
