Southampton uni physics y1 review

In my program, I loved how they very quickly showed real-life applications to what we were learning and showed us why it is important to understand physics. I didn’t like my computing module but that was most likely down to covid making it online so I wasn’t able to engage in that like my other modules. To improve id suggest decreasing the level of work outside of my lab sessions they took up so much time when all you got was inconsistent marking. Upon arrival, there were plenty of things to do outside of uni set up by the su bars and clubs so students definitely would find something they enjoy especially from the wide range of clubs and activities the university offers. I personally haven’t encountered or talked to maybe international students so I haven’t really got an opinion on that but I’m aware that the uni does have a large amount of support for them.
