Student review [#15783] for French and Spanish
at University of Southampton

Having just finished my time at the University of Southampton, I have to say that what really stood out for me was the attention that I received from lecturers and other members of staff.

Whenever I needed it, there was a huge support network out there to offer help with whatever issue I had, whether it be with assignments, planning for my year abroad, career advice or even just finding my way around the campus!

Especially in the Modern Languages department, I really felt that I had a family looking out for me, which most definitely enhanced my time at university as it felt so much more personal and supportive.

Would I recommend the university? Absolutely! If I were to apply all over again, I would pick it over and over – the campus is great, the city nightlife is perfect for university life and as I have said, students are really well cared for.
