Sociable, friendly environment – not a crazy competitive environment, everyone finds their ‘level’ of academia. Very flexible on the course selection, enabling you to take courses from loads of different departments. Didn’t feel super under pressure all the time, the staff are all really lovely and helpful! It’s not the most academic university out there, but still highly regarded. More than anything, it’s super friendly, loads of fun, very sociable. So many clubs to get involved with, great sports. The campus is fun and buzzing, lots going on, and a real student hub. Everyone lives nearby it so it has a real community feel. Absolutely loved it there!
