My experience as an Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student

First of all, I love the University of Leicester, which I will refer to as UoL from now. It has helped me with every step of my journey here, and there is always helpful for me at any stage if I require it. From being given my own mentor, to being able to message my lecturers at any time or use their office hours for any problem I have. I haven’t experienced major issues yet, I did have a couple of lecturers that declined my interest in the course I am studying but you never have the same lecturer for too long, they split the semesters between two, so if you do dislike the one you don’t have to put up with them forever. It’s been great to learn deeper into the world of engineering bit by bit, especially through people who have a genuine passion for the subject. It’s so much nicer being taught by someone who loves what they are teaching and where you can clearly see that fact. I’ve been enjoying every lecture I have gone to and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
