I like Exeter because it feels calm but still academically serious. The campus is beautiful and makes studying less stressful, and everything is close enough that you don’t feel lost like in a huge city. Teaching feels supportive and organised, and there’s a strong sense of community — it’s easy to settle in, focus on your work, and still have a good social life without constant chaos.
