at Teesside University

The Facilities at Teesside University go above and beyond what you would expect from a University. There an entire building for faculty members to assist students with any queries or problems they would like addressing within the University, allowing the students to feel comfortable throughout their degree knowing that if they need help they can go to the Student Life Building. Within the library the faculty will proof read any assignments you have done helping students complete their assignments to the best of their ability. Within the Student Union building there is a section for financial help, students are allowed to search for financial help regarding budgeting and any queries they may have and the faculty there are ready and prepared to help them upon appointment. Throughout the University there are student ambassadors and faculty members there to help them with any question they need. Teesside University is fully equipped with capabilities of making students feel safe and secure. I for one have felt extremely helped and supported throughout my time at University, when I was struggling financially during first year I was helped with getting a student loan that is not required to be paid back to support me. This led to the University offering me an additional £500 as they recieved a one-off pot of money and they were aware I recieved a student support fund payment off Blackbullion. This not only showed me that they were there to help but how generous and kind the University is.
