This is a taught University which focuses more on teaching and practical experience. I’ll highly recommend TEESSIDE to prospective applicants who have the desire to further their studies at the graduate level
View moreTeesside University is a home for learning. Very open and accomodating to international students. They also offer the relevant labour market courses. Am doing my MSc International Management Human Resource Management Applied, and am enjoying the course. The tuition fees and the structure of their two years courses is very accommodating. Finally, Teesside University, Middlesbrough and North East of England are pocket friendly.
View moreThe university is quite good overall. Probably the only institution in the UK which is Adobe certified (apologies if I am wrong). The Master’s degree in Digital Media and Communications with placement year has been quite delightful, so far. The placement year is going to commence in a few months. I am quite excited, as the coursework was commendably taught by our competent and diligent professors. The course leader and module tutors of them are quite cooperative. They explained everything brilliantly during my course time. They are quite responsive both in person and by mail. I love the university’s library the most, as it comprises each and every facility that a student can wish for. Be it self-study, silent study, group study, a variety of computer systems, books, or any computer software, they have everything. I would recommend all my friends and the rest of the prospective students to consider Teesside University.
View moreThe course and campus life are great. The location Middlesbrough is a bit sad, feels like an old town. The work is a bit hectic but that’s expected from a master’s program. Overall I’m quite happy with the course.
View moreThe experience of university was invaluable to me as I met many people who were like-minded.
The course itself was great but as it was the first year this particular course was put on, there were definitely some teething problems such as a mish match of topics and assignments. Many of the useful lessons we had were within our final year and I felt there should have been put in the first place.
My allover experience with the studies on the campus and educational facilities was very bad. The professors have very low knowledge of the subjects and also they don’t support the students in their academic work. Middlesbrough has the highest crime in the UK.
View moreI love the seminars we have after each week on our modules. It gives us an opportunity to discuss practical case studies and possible business scenarios, thereby bringing the industry into the classroom.
View moreI like the way the program is delivered. The lecturers are very helpful and ready to assist you when you need them. The environment is friendly and affordable. The library is very good and you can get all the materials you need to study. Also, the library is open 24hours which gives students time to study at their convenience.
View moreThe tutors were amazing, unfortunately, the change of building halfway through the second year messed things up. We were left without equipment for a long while. The programme could have been structured better.
View moreOne thing about Teesside is the positive support from staff and student workers. Whatever your needs or queries are, just ask and help will follow. The classes are made interesting and lots of guest speakers in specialised fields.
