StudentGBChallenging but rewarding days at TeessideStudying at the university felt like a real step into independence. My department’s lecturers were very accessible, and the city had almost everything I needed right at my doorstep. I enjoyed the study nights in the library and the late nights in the park. The fact that the city is affordable made me enjoy it most. The coursework was challenging, but the careers service and societies helped me feel supported. It was demanding, but it was one of the best years of my life.
