Teesside University is a highly competent university with excellent standards of teaching and ample opportunity for student growth. The facilities at the Middlesbrough campus of the university are of a very high standard with a number of different outlets, such as a twenty-four hour, multi-floor library, a student union building, a student support services building and several areas for leisure activities such as eating, drinking, and exercising for students who live at or away from the campus. There are several large, appropriately located accommodation blocks for students from domestic and international locations, with another in development at the time of writing this review. Teaching staff are helpful and supportive, making it easy for students to excel whilst also pushing them to do their best work at the same time. The university attracts a large range of students, with differing career aspirations from different backgrounds, creating a diverse environment with a very high success rate. All campuses are easy to get to from a number of locations, whilst students from the local area are encouraged to pursue careers close to home in order to boost the area’s economy. Overall, Teesside University is definitely worth the three or more years of study required to reach one’s career goal, with students emerging from their experiences at the school with bright futures ahead of them.
